Queens / Kings of the Week
Neil – what a week it’s been for Cortnee Vine! Her first Matildas squad callup, a goal, an assist and an outrageous nutmeg on a defender whose identity we shall protect
Eric – Irish international Leanne Kiernan scored a six minute hat trick in Liverpool’s 6-0 win over Blackburn Rovers
Maj – Wini Heatley scored her first Melbourne City goal and was also named in the Matildas squad
Steffen – Karly Roestbakken, for making the latest Matildas squad as she continues her comeback from injury
Cheryl – 1) Emma Checker, we love seeing defenders score, and 2) Tony Gustavsson for agreeing to be interviewed and being so generous with his time
