Dale – 1) Clare Wheeler has continued her rapid rise by signing for FA WSL side Everton, just over a year after her last game in NPL NSW for Sydney University 2) Aoba Fujino scored a 125th-minute penalty for Japan in their U20 World Cup quarter-final against France to take the game to a shootout, which Japan won!

Eric – 1) Sydney University head coach Emily Husband has won her first NPL NSW Premiership 2) new Western United signing Jaclyn Sawicki is the first Filipina to sign for an A-League Women club 3) Emerging Jets won a game for the first time since 2020 (714 days between victories)
