Matildas Debut: 2004 (played for the national team until 2015)

Gill was born in Auckland but is very much an Australian football legend.

Major tournaments: 1 x World Cup (2007), 4 x Asian Cup (2006, 2008, 2010, 2014)
2010 AFC Women’s Player of the Year
Scored the winner in the 2010 Asian Cup semi final against Japan

W-NSL: 28 goals in 55 games (all for Northern NSW)
A-League Women: 42 goals in 57 games (6 in 10 for Newcastle, 36 in 47 for Perth)
2 x A-League Women Golden Boots (2012-13 & 2014-15)

Gill had plenty of Swedish adventures, playing for AIK, Sunnanå, Malmö (now known as FC Rosengård) & Linköpings.

She has made major contributions to Australian football in off-field roles, spending the last nine years with the PFA in various roles and serving as a Co-Chief Executive since July 2020. Gill is also a Director of the Pride Cup (follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
