With up to three Aussies and Matildas competing in the D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how our players, and the teams they’re playing in, are faring.
Super-sub Mary Fowler! The Aussie came on at halftime and scored the equaliser for Montpellier at the 66th minute in their 1-1 draw with Dijon FCO. As a starter or on the bench, Fowler’s impact is growing. She scored her third goal in D1 and is currently the second-top scorer of her team. However, Montpellier haven’t won a game in the championship for five rounds.
Thank you Mary 🙌

Laura Brock and EA Guingamp earned an important point away to Paris FC (0-0). After the departure of Lena Gewitz to BK Häcken, Brock is now the defensive leader of the team. Guingamp managed another clean sheet and stayed ahead of Paris FC to remain in fifth position, only 1 point away from Montpellier.
Ellie Carpenter played the entire game in Olympique Lyonnais‘ 2-0 away win against ASJ Soyaux. Lyon is still in second place behind Paris Saint-Germain. The next round will be decisive for D1 Arkema as OL meet PSG.
Carpenter said: “When you come to OL you have to have a winning mentality. The whole locker room is determined to win and prove that we are the best team.” (OL.fr)
