With up to three Aussies and Matildas competing in the D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how our players, and the teams they’re playing in, are faring.
Following a COVID delay for Olympique Lyonnais, the final round 18 match was played this weekend.
EA Guingamp’s defence sunk against Olympique Lyonnais, conceding five goals.
Laura Brock played the entire game while Ellie Carpenter played the first hour. Unfortunately, Brock had a difficult game against Catarina Macario. The Aussie was overtaken by her opponent and scored an own goal. Lyon’s victory will give them confidence in the race for the title against PSG. OL ranks second, one point behind Paris.
