With up to four Aussies and Matildas competing in the D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how our players and the teams they’re playing in are faring.
Round 2 saw Laura Brock earning her first start and other Aussies stand at the 1st, 3rd and 4th place of the D1 Féminine.
Mary Fowler and Brock faced each other as Montpellier HSC welcomed EA Guingamp. Both were in the starting XI – the first time for Brock this season. Brock played 90 minutes while Fowler was subbed-off at the 76’.
Brock’s Guingamp nearly outplayed their opponents for the first 30 minutes but MHSC scored back-to-back goals (33’, 36’) and took the win 2-0. Guingamp remains pointless and 11th on the D1F table.
