With two Aussies and Matildas competing in the D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how our players, and the teams they’re playing in, are faring.

Stade de Reims earned three amazing points with a 5-2 win against Girondins de Bordeaux, who had led 1-0 after Katja Snoeijs‘ sixth-minute goal. The home side answered beautifully with Rachel Corboz‘s goal ten minutes later, then French international Kessya Bussy (21′, 73′) and Haïtian youth international Melchie Dumornay (46’, 53’) both scored braces. Dumornay had a great game, also delivering an assist and being involved in some dangerous opportunities for Reims, while Bussy is now the second highest scorer in the league with five goals for the season. Claire Lavogez scored a second goal for Bordeaux on 80 minutes. Bordeaux’s situation on the pitch is difficult and sources say coach Patrice Lair is close to departing the club.

Paris FC continued its perfect start to the campaign with a 4-0 win against ASJ Soyaux (Coumba Sow 37’, Anaïg Butel 51’, Clara Matéo 63’, Daphné Corboz 78’) while Dijon FCO got the better of FC Fleury 91 thanks to Solène Barbance‘s 29th minute goal.

FF Issy drew with EA Guingamp 1-1 after Issy goalkeeper Cosette Morché saved a penalty in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time. Sana Daoudi gave Guingamp the lead on 55 minutes, then Adélie Fourré equalised seven minutes later.

Paris Saint-Germain won 2-0 against AS Saint-Etienne thanks to goals from Sara Däbritz (43′) and Marie-Antoinette Katoto (66′). Däbritz, who has been named D1 Arkema Player of the Month, delivered a high-quality performance by scoring and then setting up Katoto for the second goal (Katoto’s seventh of the season). In six games, Däbritz has scored four goals and her tally of three assists is the highest in the league.

Ellie Carpenter‘s Olympique Lyonnais and Mary Fowler‘s Montpellier faced each other, with both Aussies starting and OL winning 5-0. Montpellier provided strong opposition during the first 30 minutes, but Lyon took the lead thanks to Selma Bacha’s banger in the 33rd minute and then Marion Torrent scored an own goal just before halftime. Perle Morroni scored Lyon’s third goal on 57 minutes after great play from Damaris Egurrola and Catarina Macario. Carpenter and Delphine Cascarino showed their attacking qualities soon afterwards and were involved in Melvine Malard’s 59th minute goal.
