With two Aussies and Matildas competing in the D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how our players, and the teams they’re playing in, are faring.

Montpellier earned the result of the week by winning 1-0 away to Bordeaux. It was a very close game and Lena Petermann made the difference after Marion Torrent won a penalty in the 39th minute. Olympique Lyonnais, who lost against Bayern München in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, recovered to win 4-0 away to FF Issy. Ellie Carpenter started and assisted Melvine Malard‘s fourth minute goal, then Catarina Macario doubled the lead two minutes later. Carpenter was subbed after 54 minutes. Ada Hegerberg owned the second half and set up Signe Bruun for a great goal in the 71st minute, before scoring eight minutes later after good work from Emeline Laurent

PSG reacted to last week’s loss by winning 7-0 against Stade de Reims. Lea Khélifi opened the scoring (4’), then Paulina Dudek netted with a header from Sara Däbritz’s free-kick (25’). Later, Khelifi scored from a direct free-kick (38′), and Kadidiatou Diani was alone in front of the goal to make it four (45’). In the second half, Sandy Baltimore converted a penalty (55’), while Jordyn Huitema (74′) and Diani again (75’ pk) also added to the score.

Paris FC avoided a shock result against Dijon by winning 2-0 away. Coumba Sow scored with a volley at the 54th minute and Ouleymata Sarr finished after great work from Clara Matéo (80’).

It was an anthology of goals in Fleury, who won 6-2 against EA Guingamp. Marine Dafeur, assisted by Dominika Grabowska, gave the hosts an early lead (8’), then Grabowska scored with a rocket (35’). Guingamp halved the deficit with Charlotte Fernandes’ own goal but then Fleury’s Polish duo of Grabowska and Nikola Karczewska took over the game. Karczewska scored a brace (60’ & 69’) and Marie Levasseur finished from a Grabowska pass (71’). Julie Debever scored Fleury’s sixth goal (76′) while Aïssata Traoré converted a penalty for the visitors (88’).

The duel at the bottom of the table saw Soyaux win 2-1 against AS Saint-Etienne. Saint-Etienne opened the scoring thanks to Marie-Charlotte Leger‘s unlucky own goal at a corner kick, but Soyaux responded when Shana Battouri capitalised on a goalkeeping error (70’), and Anissa Lahmari found the net on 82 minutes to secure three important points.
