It’s that time again! The first round of the D1 Arkema kept its promises with so many braces!

It took only five minutes for Lieke Martens to score, assisted by Kadidiatou Diani, who then scored the second goal at 34 minutes. Sabrina Delannoy (sporting director of the team) confirmed that Kheira Hamraoui isn’t in PSG’s plans for this upcoming season.

Bordeaux got the better of newly-promoted Le Havre HAC with a 4-2 home win. Le Havre surprised the hosts with an early Salome Elisor goal (3′), but Bordeaux reacted thanks to Maëlle Garbino’s brace (13′, 44′), plus goals from Mickaëlla Cardia (23′) and Melissa Gomes (53′). Elisor scored another goal for Le Havre on 65 minutes.

FC Fleury 91 didn’t give EA Guingamp a chance, winning 3-0 away. Rosemonde Kouassi gave the lead to the visitors (18′), then Julie Piga found the net, assisted by Léa Le Garrec (52′), before Kouassi, once again assisted by Le Garrec, made it three.
Montpellier didn’t miss the opportunity to take three points but lost striker Lena Petermann, who was injured and subbed early for Esther Mbakem-Naro (12′). La Paillade stayed focused as Faustine Robert opened the scoring at 20 minutes with a banger, before Nérilia Mondésir scored a brace (39′, 81′). Dijon’s Roselord Borgella missed a penalty kick in the 87th minute.

Paris FC did the job against newly-promoted Rodez AF with Clara Matéo (28′) and Mathilde Bourdieu (72′) as their scorers.
Olympique Lyonnais won 5-1 at Stade de Reims FC, helped by Danielle van de Donk’s brace (16′, 85′). Damaris Egurolla had a great game, setting up the first goal and scoring with a header in the 39th minute. Sara Däbritz assisted Egurolla’s goal and also scored her first OL goal on 72 minutes (another header), while Melvine Malard rounded off the scoring in the final minute. Melchie Dumornay prevented a shutout for Reims with her 63rd minute goal.
