With two Aussies and Matildas competing in D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how our players, and the teams they’re playing in, are faring.

Paris FC won 3-1 at Montpellier HSC in a game with two red cards. Mathilde Bourdieu opened the scoring for Paris (30′) and then assisted Ouleymata Sarr’s goal (43′). Montpellier reduced the deficit thanks to Océane Deslandes from the penalty spot (72′), but Théo Greboval scored a header for Paris at 82′. The game saw Montpellier’s captain Marion Torrent and PFC’s Eseosa Aigbogun receiving a red card (90+1′) for inappropriate behavior on the pitch.

Girondins de Bordeaux got the better of EA Guingamp, winning 3-1. Mickaëlla Cardia scored an early goal to put Bordeaux in front (6′), while Maëlle Garbino continued her spectacular journey for this season with a brace (17′, 33′). Guingamp scored their second goal of 2022-23 thanks to Anissa Lahmari at 16′. 

The game between the two newly-promoted teams saw Le Havre win 2-1 at home against Rodez AF. Laura Rueda scored a brace for the hosts (13′, 61′) and Rodez’s Inès Barrier found the net at 86′. With this win, Le Havre sits in fifth place.

Dijon brought three points home after a 1-0 win against ASJ Soyaux. Roselord Borgella was the goalscorer (78′).

Paris Saint-Germain won 2-0 at Stade de Reims thanks to a pair of Kadidiatou Diani headers (42′, 47′). Kheira Hamraoui made her return to the PSG lineup, playing a full game.

Olympique Lyonnais survived a scare and won by the smallest margin, 1-0 against FC Fleury. Lyon had an extra player from the 25th minute onwards after Rosemonde Kouassi was sent off for the second time in six games. The irresistible Wendie Renard saved her team at 90+2′ with a header from Lindsey Horan’s pass. OL remains 1st, two points in front of PSG.
