Paris Saint-Germain defeated Paris FC in an epic game, winning 5-4 on penalties after the game ended 2-2. Paris FC was leading twice thanks to Clara MatĂ©o (36′) and Daphne Corboz (56′). PSG came back through Grace Geyoro’s penalty kick at 52′ and the unstoppable Marie-Antoinette Katoto (72′). Despite an incredible performance which included an astonishing double-stop, PFC’s goalkeeper Chamiaka Nnadozie couldn’t be the team’s hero as PSG won the shootout. Our Aussie Clare Hunt was on the PSG bench, while Sarah Hunter wasn’t on the Paris FC teamsheet.

Olympique Lyonnais won 6-0 against 4th-ranked Stade de Reims. Their captain Wendie Renard opened the scoring at 12′, then Danielle van De Donk doubled OL’s lead at 36′, and Amel Majri scored a goal-of-the-season contender with a volley at 43′. Kadidiatou Diani (57′, 66′) and Melchie Dumornay (58′) made it 6-0. Ellie Carpenter played a solid 90 minutes and helped OL secure the clean sheet.

Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain will play the grand final on Friday 17th, 9.00 pm at OL’s Groupama stadium. Paris FC and Stade de Reims will play for the 3rd place (and a UWCL spot) earlier the same day, at 6.00 pm at PFC’s Charlety stadium.
