With Aussies Ellie Carpenter, Clare Hunt and Sarah Hunter competing in D1 FĂ©minine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how their teams are faring.

The game between Paris FC and Le Havre AC has been postponed due to snow. This was predictable, and the league erred in delaying the decision to postpone as the visitors had already travelled to Paris.

Lille OSC and Dijon FCO split the points with a 2-2 draw. The visitors led 2-0 at halftime thanks to Klaudia Jedlinska (21′) and Malou Marcetto (34′). Lille’s French international Amandine Henry received her very first red card in the championship after tough contact with Madeline Roth (52′). This was a turning point as the Dogues (Lille) came back to level the score with Anais Ribeyra’s brace at 66′ and 85′.

Stade de Reims won 1-0 against EA Guingamp thanks to a late penalty from Melissa Gomes (90′).

Paris Saint-Germain won 8-1 against Girondins de Bordeaux FC. PSG opened the scoring at 28′ thanks to Grace Geyoro’s penalty kick. Then, Amalie Vangsgaard (38′) and Marie-Antoinette Katoto‘s double (40′, 45+2′) made it 4-0 at halftime. Sandie Baltimore (62’) and Tabitha Chawinga (71′) added one each after the break, before Bordeaux got on the scoreboard thanks to Hawa SangarĂ© (72′). Vangsgaard scored again at 84′. Our Aussie Clare Hunt, who came in for the second half, delivered an assist to Chawinga on Paris’ eighth goal of the game (88′).

AS Saint-Etienne’s 1-0 win over FC Fleury 91 was the feelgood story of the weekend. Amandine Pierre-Louis scored the only goal of the game at 29′, while the visitors could not find a way to equalise. Against a team fighting for a top four spot, ASSE took three valuable points in the relegation battle.

Montpellier HSC lost 1-2 against Olympique Lyonnais. Selma Bacha was decisive, assisting Vanessa Gilles (12′) and Ada Hegerberg (27′) for the Norwegian’s 150th D1 Arkema game. The game could have become one-sided, but La Paillade showed great resolve and even halved the deficit thanks to OcĂ©ane Deslandes (35′). Our Aussie Ellie Carpenter entered play in the 65th minute.
