With Aussies Ellie Carpenter, Clare Hunt and Sarah Hunter competing in D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how their teams are faring.

A young Olympique Lyonnais suffered their first loss of the season as Girondins de Bordeaux won 2-1. Alice Marques opened the score for OL at 33’ but experienced Sarah Bourgouin scored a brace (45+4’, 85’) to win Bordeaux’s last game in D1 Arkema, as the club has been relegated to D2.

FC Fleury lost their playoff spot to Stade de Reims after losing 2-3 against Montpellier HSC. Nérilia Mondésir gave an early lead to MHSC (4’) and Maëlle Lakrar doubled their lead at 35’. Fleury came back to level the scores at 2-2 through Bactheba Louis (46’) and Léa Le Garrec (56’), but Léa Khelifi scored the winner for Montpellier at 78’.

Le Garrec left the field due to a serious knee injury, and Maëlle Lakrar is joining Real Madrid. Montpellier’s president has said that he will decrease the women’s team investment because they did not finish as high as expected.

Stade de Reims qualified for the playoffs after a 2-1 win at Paris Saint-Germain, the icing on the cake for the coach Amandine Miquel. Rofiat Imuran (15’) and Anaele Le Moguedec (27’) gave a 2-0 lead to Reims. PSG reduced the deficit thanks to Fanny Rossi (28’), but were unable to come back. Clare Hunt was in PSG’s starting lineup.

Paris FC also lost in this round, 0-1 against Dijon FCO, allowing a goal from Léa Declercq (79’).

AS Saint-Etienne and Lille OSC drew 1-1. Cindy Caputo opened the scoring from the penalty spot at 20’ for ASSE, before Anaïs Ribeyra equalised at 53’.

In the second half, Le Havre took the lead thanks to Inès Benyahia at 56’, but Guingamp made it 2-2 soon afterwards thanks to Alison Peniguel (58’). Benyahia scored again two minutes later to give Le Havre a 3-2 lead, and Effa Effa made it 4-2 at 67’.
