Montpellier HSC 1-4 Olympique Lyonnais
Lyon could score from 28’ but Marie Petiteau stopped Lindsey Horan’s penalty-kick. Two minutes later, the latter served Wendie Renard to give Lyon the lead (0-1, 30’). Melchie Dumornay intercepted the ball in the opponent’s half, dribbled to the box, and served Amel Majri (0-2, 37’). Montpellier returned just before halftime thanks to Sonia Ouchene, assisted by Marie Levasseur (1-2, 45+1’). However, Olympique Lyonnais answered with a great action: two one-twos of Sofie Svava and Amel Majri helped the Danish left-back to serve Lindsey Horan who scored a header (1-3, 45+2’). The second half was calmer until Sara Däbritz scored a fourth goal as a surface box (1-4, 59’). Our Aussie Ellie Carpenter was subbed off at 67’ for Sofia Huerta.
