BK Häcken played out an away scoreless draw against Piteå IF, as Aivi Luik awaits the outcome of an appeal against her three-month suspension from a painkilling injection two years ago, despite not failing a doping test.

It proved to be a grueling week for Linköping FC, with a play-in-advance Round 18 midweek 2-1 away loss to Örebro followed by a 0-0 home draw against IF Brommapojkarna just two days later. Polly Doran started in both and was substituted on both occasions, while Angie Beard started the second game and played out the full match.

Linköping then backed up for a 3-1 away loss in their Champions League qualification match against Sparta Prague from the Czech Republic. Beard started and scored the only goal for the Swedish team, while Doran made an appearance off the bench deep into extra time.

Football Fern Ava Collins played a full match but picked up a yellow card in Kolding‘s 4-1 away loss to Fortuna Hjørring.  Unfortunately, there wasn’t any game time for our other Danish-based Kiwis – Claudia Bunge wasn’t listed in the matchday squad for HB Køge in their 1-0 home loss against Odense, nor was Ally Green for AGF in their 1-0 away win over B 93.
