Fourth-placed Kristianstads DFF recorded a fine 2-1 away victory over top-three opposition in Hammarby in Round 18 of the Damallsvenskan. BK Häcken had a commanding 4-0 home victory over AIK, as Aivi Luik still awaits the outcome of an appeal against her three-month suspension from a painkilling injection two years ago, despite not failing a doping test.
Häcken takes on IFK Norrköping next round but then looks ahead with much anticipation to home and away Champions League qualification games against Arsenal from September 19th.
Linköping FC bounced back from Champions League elimination by putting eight goals past Austrian side First Vienna in the third place playoff for their UWCL qualifying bracket. Polly Doran and Angie Beard played for the entirety of the 8-0 triumph, with Doran getting on the scoresheet.

Unfortunately, Ava Collins and Kolding fell at the first hurdle of their Cup journey, losing 2-1 at home to Odense Q. The news was better for AGF, who won 9-0 against third-tier Brabrand – but Ally Green wasn’t listed on the team sheet.
The team at Beyond 90 are keen coffee enthusiasts, and it’s good to see we share a passion with Ava Collins (besides football!).
