While the 2024 Damallsvenskan does not commence until April 13th, we look forward to bringing you the exploits of Aivi Luik (BK Häcken), Angie Beard (Linköping FC), plus Clare Polkinghorne and Amy Sayer (Kristianstads DFF).
All three teams are participating in the Svenska Cup group stage. Matchday three last week saw a big 7-2 home win for Häcken (sans Luik) over Kristianstads, with starts for Polkinghorne and Sayer (in action below). Highlights can be found here.
Beard was an unused substitute for Linköping’s scoreless draw with Vittsjö.
Luik then played a full game for Häcken as they exited the UEFA Champions League at the quarter final stage – losing the 2nd leg 3-0 to PSG (5-1 defeat on aggregate).
