Round 2 of the Swedish Damallsvenskan 2025 competition was completed this week.

Linköping was handed a 5-0 home defeat at the hands of Hammarby. The result rockets Hammarby to the top of the ladder and consigns Linköping to cellar-dwellers after two losses. Polly Doran entered the fray in the 62nd minute for the home side.
Everything came up roses for Vesna Milivojević in her 89 minutes for Norrköping against newly promoted Malmö. Milivojević’s high-profile week started with a club interview for fans before the game (translate recommended). She then got her team off to the perfect start with a goal after just five minutes and completed a second-half brace in their 2-0 away win.
Head coach Stellan Carlsson said after the win, “I know how much it means to Vesna to score goals, so I’m very happy for her. She also has more chances in this match. It means a lot to her and to the team”.
