Aussies are playing in three Nordic leagues in 2025, and Beyond 90 will be there to follow their progress each week!
Round 5 of the Swedish Damallsvenskan competition saw all teams containing Aussies bar one picking up points.
Vesna Milivojević‘s Norrköping was the outlier, losing 4-0 at home to BK Häcken. Milivojević played 81 minutes in a game where her team conceded three times in the second half, one of them an own goal. Norrköping is facing the same opponent in the semi-final of the Svenska Cup this week, so learning from the loss will be paramount.
Jada Whyman played a full 90 minutes, with Angie Beard at 87 minutes close to matching her, in AIK‘s second win of the season, 2-0 at home over Brommapojkarna. The result lifts AIK out of the relegation zone.
Polly Doran was a 69th-minute substitute for Linköping in a welcome 1-0 away win over Alingsås, the first of their season. Both teams remain in the bottom three.
Kristianstads battled to a 1-1 draw at home against Piteå. Remy Siemsen started and was replaced by Amy Sayer in the 64th minute. The result sees Kristianstad hovering just one place above the relegation zone on goal difference.

Winonah Heatley played a full game in the Round 5 Kvindeliga Championship group clash between second-placed Nordsjælland and the traditionally strong HB Køge, with Køge currently in fourth place. Despite Nordsjælland enjoying the weight of possession and a similar number of shots on target as their opponent, home side Køge scored the winner with eleven minutes remaining after the visitors worked hard in the second half to equalise from 2-0 down.

For a team getting hammered in the Toppserien before the arrival of Kiwis Liz Anton in defence and Olivia Chance in midfield, this week’s Round 7 1-0 added-time away loss to second-from-top Rosenborg was quite the accomplishment. Both players were on the park for the full match, no doubt leaving Koteng Arena feeling as if Kolbotn deserved a point.
Kolbotn had the ideal preparation for their game against Rosenborg with a 1-0 home victory against Lyn four days earlier, their second league win this year. Once again both Kiwis played full games, with Chance picking up a yellow card.
