Aussies are playing in three Nordic leagues in 2025, and Beyond 90 will be there to follow their progress each week!
Honours were divided in Round 7 of the Swedish Damallsvenskan competition last weekend, with teams containing Aussies winning in two games and losing in two others.
By far the most impressive feat was Jada Whyman and Angie Beard‘s AIK inflicting ladder-topping Hammarby’s only loss of the season, 1-0 at home. The result sees AIK firmly mid-table in seventh spot. Whyman and Beard both played full games.
It was wonderful to see Amy Sayer start her first Kristianstads league game since her recovery in her team’s 3-2 home win over Vittsjö. Sayer played 67 minutes, while teammate Remy Siemsen came off the bench in the 73rd minute. The team is equal on points with AIK, with both teams sharing a record of 3 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw.

Linköping suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat at home against Djurgårdens, conceding the winner in the 93rd minute. Polly Doran started but was substituted at halftime with the team chasing the game at 1-0 down. For now, Linköping remains in the relegation zone.

Norrköping takes on Hammarby in the Svenska Cup final in a week, but fell 2-1 away to FC Rosengård in their Round 7 league fixture. Vesna Milivojević played the full match but watched two of her teammates dismissed with red cards in the final ten minutes.

Ladder
We can forgive Nordsjælland‘s thoughts being elsewhere – specifically the Danish Cup final this coming weekend – when they fought out a disappointing 0-0 away draw to bottom-placed Aarhus in their Round 7 Kvindeliga Championship group match. Winonah Heatley played out the full game.
Ladder
Kolbotn‘s last match was a week ago in the second round of the Norway Cup, when they defeated lower-tier Grei 3-0 away from home. Liz Anton and Olivia Chance started as the club debuted three new players.
Next up for Kolbotn in the Toppserien is an away game against mid-table LSK Kvinner.

There are no Aussies currently listed as playing in the Icelandic competition. If that changes, we’ll be following their progress.
