Eric manages the chaos of a B90 podcast with almost impeccable internet, Steffen is all smiles with football in the Capital, Maj is safe up north and Dale has a win for a change.
History: Kim Revell, Matildas Cap 85
Matildas Debut: 1995 (played for the national team until 2001)
Grassroots Club: Deception Bay (Brisbane)
Appearances: 34 appearances
Revell was born in New Zealand, and then her family moved to Queensland. She first started playing football because she wasn’t allowed to play rugby league – their loss is certainly our gain.
Revell was part of a National Youth Championship winning team in 1993. She then made her Matildas debut against the USA in January 1995. Two months later, Revell scored her first Matildas goal against New Zealand.
Described as “a skillful midfielder with great attacking distribution and vision, Revell was known for creating goals and taking on opponents. Domestically, she helped Queensland win two W-NSL titles in 1997 and 2001, and was the captain for the 2001 title win.
