History: Tracey Jenkins, Matildas Cap 71

Tracey was born in Wales and played her junior football in South Australia, before becoming a two-time South Australia State League golden boot winner. She made her one and only Matildas appearance in 1991 during a friendly against New Zealand.

Tracey holds a B-Licence and is currently coaching West Adelaide, who finished second in the 2021 SA NPLW.

    • the team finished second with 10 wins, 3 draws, and a single loss, qualifying for the next Champions League
    • Angie and Clare are part of the Matildas squad for this weekend

    • Jenna played 90′ as AGF drew 2-2 at home with bottom side AaB (Aalborg)
    • AGF were climbing towards mid-table early in the season but fell away towards the end, recording 2 wins, 2 draws and 10 losses
    • They will now compete in the relegation playoffs. Clubs ranked seventh and eighth play qualifiers against the top four teams from Division 1. The two top teams at the end of these playoffs will earn Elitedivisionen places for 2022.

Cheryl – Jess Fishlock from OL Reign was named as the NWSL MVP. Credit to Fishlock for lifting the professionalism of the game in Australia with Melbourne City (3 seasons, 38 matches, 3 championships). Also shoutout to Jess and Watford’s Helen Ward, who were both selected for Wales’ upcoming World Cup qualifying matches.

Steffen needs to quickly pivot on his Queen of the Week, while Dale and Zim both pick Kelley O’Hara.
