With Australians scattered across the continent, here’s a wrap of all the action.

Germany

Emily Gielnik made her Bayern Munich debut against Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Women’s Cup. The Matilda played 63 minutes and set up two of Bayern’s five goals in a convincing win.

Norway

Tameka Yallop played a full 90 in Klepp’s 4-0 loss to Vålerenga. Aivi Luik also got another full game under her belt with Avaldsnes able to get three points in a 3-0 win over Fart.

Iceland

Grace Maher’s KR earned another win with a 4-0 triumph over KA. The 20-year-old played another full game in her debut season abroad.

England

Jacynta Galabadaarachchi made her West Ham debut against Arsenal, coming on in the 57th minute. The Hammers lost 2-1 to the reigning FA Women’s Super League champions, coached by fellow Aussie Joe Montemurro.

Spain

Alex Chidiac did not feature in the matchday squad for Atletico Madrid’s season opener against Huelva. The reigning champions secured a 1-0 victory.
