Well, that wasn’t exactly the result many of us were hoping for, but at the very least we broke a record. Eric saw it all from the media box, Steffen enjoyed a drive from Canberra, Maj watched it with a burger at the pub and Cheryl did a 24-hour trip to Sydney.

 

History: Jackie Hadden, Matildas Cap 72

Following a three year period without any Matildas debutants, Jackie Hadden made her debut in 1994 against Russia. Jackie played for Blacktown in her pathway to representative football and won the Dana Cup in 1993 (U19).

Jackie played twice for the Matildas (1 A international) and went on to the USA, playing college football for Central Connecticut State University.
