Is fan entitlement becoming an issue in England?
This is what happens when you market an elite level sport as something which allows fans to spend time speaking to players after every match. Fans become entitled, and it’s impossible for players to live up to, even if they wanted to, now the game has grown. https://t.co/5svIlQxkle

Queens, Kings and Themperors of the Week
Dale – Joker) Capital Football have decided to disband Canberra United Academy, the elite pathway for women footballers that has helped develop footballers such as Laura Hughes & Emma Ilijoski
Eric – 1) Sienna Dale scored a match winning double for the Junior Matildas in their 2-1 victory over Vietnam, and then scored all four goals when Australia beat Bangladesh 4-0! 2) Isabella Preston (of Football NSW Institute) scored the winner for the Philippines against Vietnam, that 1-0 victory ensured qualification to the 2024 AFC U17 Championship! 3) Caitlin Hayes made her international debut for the Republic of Ireland, and then in her second game for the Girls In Green, she scored in the win over Hungary 4) Haley Bugeja scored all three of Malta’s goals during the most recent international window, helping them defeat Latvia and Moldova!
Maj – Mackenzie Arnold was named captain of West Ham and saved a penalty against Manchester City!
Steffen – Picking a Julie Murray medal winner (best on ground at the NPL Capital Football Grand Final) can’t have been easy, with Maddy Whittall one among many fine performers, but her return to football this year, her energy, and her fitness levels after her long layoff made for a wonderful story.
