Dub fixtures: what caught our eye?

  • Dale: consolidation of venues e.g. Roar moving to Brisbane City’s stadium, Spencer Park, Canberra have two byes over the Christmas / New Year period
  • Ally / Emma: reduction in number of games at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium / Swan Street, Melbourne City’s home ground is a long way away from the city centre and public transport, similar for Victory games at Home of the Matildas, if you don’t drive, it’s hard for you to attend these games
  • Emma: don’t rate City home games being all on Sundays
  • Eric: Canberra host Sydney two days after my birthday!

– The Dub will pause for the Asian Cup

– Matildas set to play New Zealand in November / December window?

– Kory Babington, new CCM head coach, is a fan of Izzy Gomez
