Most of us have never been so excited about the start of the FA WSL season.
Eleven Aussies and three Kiwis are set to appear in the league, which kicks off this weekend.
Founded in 2011, this will be the competition’s 10th season, with 12 teams vying for top spot. Aston Villa enters the league after promotion from the FA Women’s Championship at the end of the 2019-20 campaign, replacing relegated Liverpool.
What’s the match schedule?
The best way to stay up to date with all matches is to subscribe to the calendar.

How can I watch the matches?
The FA Women’s Super League provides international rights holders, eg Optus Sport, with three WSL games per round that are chosen by the WSL in conjunction with the domestic UK broadcasters.
Optus Sport streams these matches live and on-demand. There is also a WSL weekly highlights show which provides visibility across all matches from the round. Optus are endeavouring to supply as much coverage as possible.
If you’re outside Australia, watch via www.FAPlayer.tv or download the FA Player App. Check here for support.
