The Dub season is almost over so we chat about the Preliminary Final and give our Grand Final predictions. We also go around the world and finish up with our Royal Watch.

History: Denise Lofthouse, Matildas Cap 88

Matildas Debut: 1995
Grassroots Club: Rockingham
Appearances: 2 (1 A International)

“Lofty” started as a striker, but a change of locale led to a position change and she would end up going to the 1995 World Cup as a goalkeeper and a backup to Tracey Wheeler.

An injury to Wheeler gave Lofthouse her chance in a World Cup warm up game and she kept a clean sheet against New Zealand.
