Matildas Debut: 1996 (played for the national team until 2003)
Appearances: 30 A internationals (1 goal)
A defender who was in Australia’s 1999 Women’s World Cup squad, Swaffer also played for Adelaide United, Adelaide Sensation and Canberra Eclipse. She was inducted into Football South Australia’s “Hall of Champions” in 2011 for outstanding performance.
