With Aussies Ellie Carpenter, Clare Hunt and Sarah Hunter competing in D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how their teams are faring.

Paris FC won 3-0 against Montpellier HSC and secured its spot for the playoffs. Everything happened during the first half as Kessya Bussy scored a brace (5′, 45+1′), while Clara Matéo scored at 20′ and assisted Bussy twice. Sarah Hunter was not on the teamsheet.

AS Saint-Etienne won 4-3 away to EA Guingamp. Guingamp was leading 2-0 thanks to Sara Cambot (1′) and Alison Peninguel (11′), but the visitors reacted perfectly before halftime. Noémie Carage reduced the score to 2-1 at 35′, then Phoenetia Browne entered play at 39′ and equalised two minutes later. After halftime, Guingamp went up again thanks to Peninguel (62′), but Alexandria Lamontagne found another equaliser at 64′. Late in the game, AS Saint-Etienne took the lead as Solène Champagnac scored (81′) and grabbed the points for ASSE.

FC Fleury Essonne and Lille OSC split the points with a 2-2 draw. Lorena Azzaro opened the scoring for the visitors, before Fleury took the lead thanks to Rosemonde Kouassi (43′, 51′). Lille equalised in second half stoppage time through Marjorie Castro Boilesen (90+3′), who had only entered play five minutes earlier.

Paris Saint-Germain won 3-0 against Dijon FCO and qualified for the playoffs. PSG’s forwards Marie-Antoinette Katoto (13′) and Tabitha Chawinga (45′, 59′) both scored and delivered an assist. Our Aussie Clare Hunt was not on the teamsheet. Chawinga remains the leader of both the Golden Boot and Golden Ball race with 17 goals and 10 assists (tied with Clara Matéo from Paris FC). Katoto scored her 10th goal of the season and delivered her 6th assist.

Olympique Lyonnais won 3-0 against Le Havre AC. Lyon took the lead thanks to Eugénie Le Sommer’s attempt which was allowed, however the ball touched the crossbar and didn’t pass the goal line. Melchie Dumornay scored a goal at 41′ which couldn’t be questioned, before Sara Däbritz made it three-nil at 58′ from the penalty spot.
