While we were discussing (the lack of) haircuts off-air, once that ‘live’ button is pressed we’re back on track to discuss the hottest topics in women’s football this week.

Rhali is happy because the Matildas will be back in action soon. Eric and Dale have plenty of recommendations to fill new W-League teams, Cheryl is all about seeing more women coaches amongst the new teams and Steffen is giddy to hear that one Aussie is back in central defence.

    • Surprise 1-3 home loss vs bottom side Tindastoll in their final home game
    • Emma captained the side again and played 90 minutes
    • Final game is away to ladder leaders Valur Reykjavik
    • Selfoss stay 4th but only by a margin of 1 point over Stjarnan, who play Tindastoll (now 2nd from bottom)

    • Aideen Keane was absent from this week’s game due to last week’s red card
    • won 2-0 in KR’s final home game vs Haukar FC, guaranteeing KR’s place in the top Icelandic league (the Urvalsdeild) in 2022
