The Round 16 game between Canberra United and Adelaide United at McKellar Park saw a fast and furious first half with five goals! Michelle Heyman had a day out, clinching a 4-2 win for Canberra and a perfect hat trick with her diving headed goal in the second half. Heyman now sits atop the Golden Boot standings.
Earlier, Canberra’s Grace Maher converted an early penalty, then Adelaide’s Katie Bowler and Maruschka Waldus scored within 12 minutes of each other.
