The first Sydney Derby of the 2022-23 A-League Women season was held on a warm Saturday afternoon at Marconi Stadium. Despite going down to 10 players just before halftime, Sydney FC would end up defeating Western Sydney Wanderers. Remy Siemsen’s spectacular 82nd minute strike was enough to give the Sky Blues a 1-0 victory.
