After 3 rounds the top four is already looking like the top four you might have predicted pre-season, with all four teams not having dropped a point.

  • (5) Klepp IL first loss (Nikola Orgill, played all 90’) 0-2 away to Lynn, slip to 5th
  • (3) LSK Kvinner FK – Karly Roestbakken has a quick visit to Australia
  • (4) IL Sandviken (Teagan Micah) 2-1 away win at Stabaek, Teagan played 90’

The entire contingent, apart from Dylan Holmes, was named in the Matildas friendlies squad.

Denmark

Last round of the Champions and Promotion/Relegation series with the 2021/2022 season kicking off on Saturday 7 August.

  • Fortuna Hjørring (Indiah Paige Riley) – Champions series – 0-5 home loss to FC Nordsjælland, Indi wasn’t on the card. 
  • AGF Aarhus (Hannah Bacon) – Promotion/Relegation series – 1-1 draw away to Odense
    Hannah not on teamsheet. AGF topped the ladder and have qualified for the 2021 Elitedivisionen

Iceland Round 6

UMF Selfoss (Emma Checker, played 90’) 1-2 away loss to IBV, first loss, still top the league on goal difference.

Tony Gustavsson confirmed Chloe Logarzo (Kansas City) is injured. We’re hopeful for her availability for the Olympics.

D1F (France) – Final round

Ellie Carpenter‘s Lyon defeated Fleury 91 8-0, but the win wasn’t enough to secure the title as PSG defeated Dijon 3-0, ending Lyon’s 14-year reign and earning their first title.

Ellie was named in the D1F team of the season.

Eredivisie Vrouwen (Netherlands)

The final round saw SV Meppen (Beattie Goad) lose 5-0 to Freiberg and finish 11th on the ladder.

Primera División (Spain)

Round 32 of 34 saw Aivi Luik‘s (9) Sevilla defeat (14) Real Betis 2-0, with the final two rounds scheduled for June 20 and 27.
