With Aussies Ellie Carpenter, Clare Hunt and Sarah Hunter competing in D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how their teams are faring.

Olympique Lyonnais won 5-0 against Lille OSC. Ellie Carpenter was on the bench and did not play. Wendie Renard gave the lead to Lyon at 17′ after Damaris Egurrola’s head on the crossbar, before Ada Hegerberg scored a penalty kick at 28′ to make it 2-0 at halftime. Then, Egurrola finally scored a header (57′), and Griedge Mbock (59′) lighted off Lille. and Amel Majri made it five before the final whistle (90+3′).

 

AS Saint-Etienne won 2-1 against EA Guingamp (2-1). Peyton Depriest opened the score for Les Vertes (33′) before Guingamp responded at 57′ through to Laurie Teinturier. Saint-Etienne reacted quickly and took the win thanks to Cindy Caputo (decisive on the first goal), served by Alexandra Lamontagne at 61′. ASSE and EAG stand respectively 9th and 10th.

 

Dijon FCO won 1-0 against Girondins de Bordeaux, reduced to ten from the 66′. At 11 against 10, Dijon scored in the latest minutes of the game thanks to Océane Picard at 90+4′ and earned crucial points on its second win in a row.

 

Paris FC won 4-1 at Montpellier HSC. Gaëtane Thiney (12′), Daphne Corboz (24′), and Mathilde Bourdieu (41′) gave a comfortable advantage to the visitors. Montpellier reduced the lead in the 62nd minute thanks to Nérila Mondésir. However, Paris’ most promising player Louna Ribadeira (87′) made it four. Our Aussie Sarah Hunter was not on the teamsheet.
Paris FC got two decisive games in the next eight days. The first one is this Thursday against Real Madrid in the UEFA Women’s Champions League before facing Paris Saint-Germain to consolidate or fragilize their second place in the D1 Arkema.

 

Stade de Reims won 2-0 against FC Fleury as the visitors are struggling this season. The game remained goalless until the hour of play thanks to Melissa Gomes’ penalty kick (61′) and Noemie Mouchon made the break at 67′. Reims continues its great journey and stands 4th. FC Fleury (5th) has not won a game since November 11th.

 

Le Havre AC surprised Paris Saint-Germain and earned a point in this 1-1 draw. The HAC opened the score thanks to Ines Benyahia (19′), who scored in her fourth game in a row. On loan from OL, she anticipated De Almeida’s lateral pass and took the best over Kiedrzynek. Clare Hunt’s PSG did not find a way to equalize until the last seconds thanks to Grace Geyoro (90+5′).
