With Aussies Ellie Carpenter, Clare Hunt and Sarah Hunter competing in D1 Féminine, Beyond 90 will be keeping readers up to date with how their teams are faring.

Paris Saint-Germain was held in check away to FC Fleury 91. Polish international Dominika Grabowska opened the scoring for Fleury (19′), while PSG were unable to find the back of the net during the first half. After some substitutions, including Tabitha Chawinga, Sakina Karchaoui (46′), and Ramona Bachmann (60′), Paris equalized thanks to the latter two, who combined for Karchaoui’s goal at 61′. Our Aussie Clare Hunt was subbed off at 60′.

 

Le Havre AC won 4-2 against AS Saint-Etienne, opening the scoring at 18′ thanks to Inès Benyahia and doubling their lead at 27′ when Benyahia again assisted Silke Demeyere. Nadjima Ali Nadjim made it 3-0 for Le Havre at 53′. ASSE reduced the deficit thanks to Amandine Pierre-Louis (62′) but then Le Havre answered through Christy Gavory at 73′. The visitors came back to 4-2 thanks to the Canadian duo of Pierre-Louis and Alexandra Lamontagne (90+2′).

 

Girondins de Bordeaux and EA Guingamp drew 1-1. Antonie Starova scored her first goal in D1 Arkema and gave the lead to EAG (8′). Laura Bourgouin equalized at 36′ for Bordeaux.

 

Dijon FCO surprised Montpellier HSC thanks to an early goal from Klaudia Jedlinska at 2′. MHSC couldn’t find a way to equalise and lost points the race for European spots.

 

Olympique Lyonnais won 4-1 against Stade de Reims as Eugénie Le Sommer became the first player to score 300 goals for OL. Le Sommer scored a brace at 13′ and 18′. Sara Däbritz made it 3-0 at 34′, then Reims’ promising player Sarah Chossenotte reduced the gap just before halftime. Our Aussie Ellie Carpenter assisted Ada Hegerberg at 49′ before being subbed off at 59′.

 

Paris FC won 3-2 against LOSC Lille. The visitors struck first thanks to Anais Ribeyra (65′), but PFC answered with a goal from Kaja Korosec (70′). Lille retook the lead a minute later when Lorena Azzaro scored, then Kessya Bussy equalised again at 76′. Paris finally took the win thanks to Korosec in the last seconds of the game (90+6′). Our Aussie Sarah Hunter was on the bench.
